Set Up

  • 2 teams line up facing each other on opposite sides of the beer pong table.
  • In front of each player is a cup filled with 2 oz. of beer (first line of the Solo cup).
We’ll Need: 10 Solo Cups, Beer, Beer Pong Tables

Game Play

Step_01: The first player from each side cheers and touch the table.
Step_02: Drink the beer.
Step_03: Place the cup, top up, on the edge of the table so that part of the base hangs over the edge.
Step_04: Use a finger to flick the cup in the air so that it lands on the top rim.
Step_05: Next player drinks, flips, and so on.

DRINK – FLIP – REPEAT

Specs and Rules

  • Teams decide the order you line up.
  • Start at one end of the table for the first game.
  • Second game starts with the next person down the line.
  • Please don’t forget to make sure you have beer in your cup before the game starts. No one likes a cheater.

Scoring

  • 1 game of Flip Cup is a best of 3 series (aka race to 2).
  • Each team plays every other team on Friday in a Round Robin Tournament.
  • Wins and Losses from the tournament determine seeding (rankings 1-6).
  • Margin of Victory determines the winner in the case of a tie.
  • We’ll play a Double-Elimination Playoff on Saturday following the diagram below to determine final scores.
  • 1st Place = 7 points
  • 2nd Place = 6 points
  • 3rd Place = 5 points
  • 4th Place = 4 points
  • 5th Place = 3 points
  • 6th Place = 2 points
  • 7th Place = 1 point
